EditorFarmers Weekly, NSA, NBA, LAA and EBLEX are to hold a series of bluetongue meetings to allow farmers the chance to hear first hand from European vets and farmers with experience of dealing with the disease.

Meanwhile, on a more positive note, EU vets have approved a relaxation of the export restrictions posed on British meat, increasing the number of counties that can now trade to other EU countries.
